These are Luiz Carrizal's accomplishments in a nut shell:
Luiz Carrizal recived the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior along with Maria Luisa the Matriarch of the Carrizal family in 1917. Isn't it amazing that Luiz Carrizal only had a 3rd grade education, yet he was able to accomplish much:
*He was father to 7 girls and 5 boys 1910-1935
*He was patriarch to numerous great, great, great grandchildren.
*He was married to Matriarch Luisa Rodriguez Carrizal in 1908
*He was one of the first Hispanic share croppers in Pasadena, Texas - 1928.
*He was one of the founders of Sociedad Mutualista Miguel Hidalgo - 1945.
*He was one of the founders of Mission Bautista Satsuma Gardens - 1947
*He was elected president of the Mutualista for two terms
*He was charter member of Denver Harbor Senior Citizen Center - 1975

About Mary Lou
About Mary Lou - edited (some things have changed since I posted this)
I came back to the Lord in 1989 and rededicated my life at brother Osteen's church Lakewood where I also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Isn't it wonderful when we repent of our sins and Jesus forgives us and give us a new life. I am now a teacher and a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an ordained minister with a ministry license.I got married in 1992 to Eric (Ted) Cossins and we now live in Bellville Texas. My Son Allen Casas is married to Flavia Casas and they have two girls - Elizabeth and Lydia. Sandra & Ron Auxier have a girl Lexi and a boy Richard Dean.
Margaret Bautista's Bereavement Bears
Margaret Bautista's Bereavement Bears
"My name is Margaret Bautista, daughter of Jeronimo & Tomasita Carrizal".
When mama passed away, I created bears for my daughter & grandkids out of a Chenille bedspread, a gown I had bought her, & other materials I had of hers, so they have a memory of their grandma whom they loved very much. I call them bereavement bears for those who have lost their loved ones & want to have a keepsake of them. All I ask is that you call me at 832-752-3361 & tell me what you would like. I would need a favorite piece of clothing that your loved one/friend liked. I have made them out of dresses, jeans, house shoes, throw crotcheted lap covers, a special housecoat or gown, bedspreads, whatever you like.
I don't charge for my work, I just ask for a donation of whatever you can give so I can replace my material, buttons, lace, etc. I am sending pics of some of the ones I've already made for family & friends. I even made some for Frannie in the State of Washington in 2001. She sent me a crotcheted lap cover of her daughter that had cerebral palsy. She found my name & bears in the Vitas newsletter, Yeap, it went that far. I became a volunteer for Vitas Hospice, the agency that took care of my mother in the hospital. I felt I needed to give something back in return, because they took such excellent care of mama. So that's how I got started with my bears. This is my passion for helping people, to recover some of the wonderful memories of their loved ones.
Mary Lou, let me know if this is o.k.. You can edit my story or shorten it as you see fit, o.k.?
Thanks,
Margaret
